Eternity and the Bible

Heaven or Hell?

Which place will it be for you? The Bible says you can know for sure where you will go when you die.

Golden light breaking through the clouds of Heaven above, and the flames of Hell below, with the words Heaven or Hell?

If you have spent any time on this site, you have been weighing the evidence for evolution against the evidence for creation. That is a good thing to do. But follow the question all the way to the end. If life is the product of blind chance, then there is no one to answer to, and when you die, that is simply the end. But if there is a Creator, then everything changes. The One who made you owns you, He has the right to tell you how to live, and one day you will stand before Him and give an account.

The Bible says that the evidence for God is so clear that no one has an excuse: “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse” (Romans 1:20, NKJV). The design in a single living cell, the information written in DNA, and the order of the heavens all point to a Designer. And if there is a Designer, then the most important question you will ever face is not where you came from. It is where you will spend eternity.

You may say, “I don’t believe in either place, so it doesn’t matter to me.” Or you may think that you will just be dead, that you will simply cease to exist. Well, what we believe doesn’t really matter. The truth is what matters. If I told you that the sun was blue, came out at night, and was square and cold, would you believe me? No one in their right mind would believe me! The reality is that truth is truth whether we believe it or not.

God’s Word, the Bible, is true and proves itself to be true. Its truth does not depend on anyone’s opinion. All you have to do is look into it yourself, and you will find that there are NO mistakes whatsoever. If you want to dig deeper, look into apologetics, that is, the defense of the Christian faith.

When it comes to the afterlife, the Bible makes it clear that you will go to one of two places when you die. You will either go to Heaven or Hell. The Bible also makes it clear that you can know for sure which place you will go when you die. You don’t have to play some kind of guessing game. God wants you to know, so He created a standard that we can measure ourselves against to see if we will “make it” into Heaven someday. The standard is His Law, and the main part of His Law is the Ten Commandments. Surely you have heard of them before.

If you care at all about where you will go when you die, then please take the test below. Think about it for a second. You may live to be 100 years old on this side of eternity, but how long is that compared to FOREVER? It is just the blink of an eye or the snap of a finger compared to forever. Please take this test and look at yourself in truth. God bless, and I pray that you are real with yourself as you take it.
